This is a good, basic jacket for calm, dry weather. The sweater fleece material looks nicer than a standard fleece zip up and I really appreciate the longer length. The snap flap blocks chill from seeping through the zipper and one or two snaps can secure the jacket when wearing it unzipped. There are no extra pockets or bonus features typical of Land's End outerwear, but this makes it great for layering under a windbreaker or waterproof shell. It adds warmth without a lot of bulk, so you can upgrade your favorite raincoat for winter wear and repel that nasty mix of snow and rain that makes a body feel like it's 10 degrees colder than the actual temperature.I have a dusty pink Columbia rain jacket that perfectly complements the bordeaux heather Sweater Fleece jacket. The shape and length of the two jackets are an excellent match. It's almost like they were made for each other.Since I'm mostly using this as an inner layer, the pocket placement isn't a problem for me, but it's worth noting that they sit too low for me to comfortably use. I'm a short-legged 5'4". Meaning that, from the hips up, I'm proportioned like I should be taller, so the too-low pockets were a surprise.It’s a very nice jacket. I like the longer length. I was looking for a fleece. This jacket is fleece like in the inside but the outside is knitted like a sweater, contrary to the “brushed on both sides” description.We were going to Yellowstone and grand Tetons on a September vacation and was looking for a coat that would work chilly days over a sweatshirt. Perfect weight and loved the cinched belt. I ordered an XL and the fit was great with plenty of room for a sweats under it but sleeves are a little long.Does the trick of being a warm sweater. It’s warmer than I thought, so perfect for winters in Oklahoma!It is very well made, the fabric is soft and thick - so it holds it’s shape well. And it fits me perfectly in every way.
