I was looking for a nice light weight jacket that I could wear in the early mornings while working outside in the garden to keep the wind and dew off. As I started looking for jackets, I couldn’t believe the prices for some of the light weight jackets on-line. Since I’m going to use this jacket out in the yard, I wanted something cheap but still good quality.Came across the Fits a little large. I usually wear an XL. I find a medium fits best! The jacket fits comfortably and has roomy pockets on the outside and in. The hood is easy to pull out with one hand, and folds back into the collar with hardly any effort. The one time it rained when I had it on kept me warm and dry, and the jacket itself dried quickly. My only complaint is the pockets. They are very large, and as I said roomy. Unfortunately, I am a big 'ole round guy, and it is very easy for things in the outside pockets to slide out. I cannot tell if that is because of the jacket design, or my huge belly :-)If\when it is time to replace this, I would be very comfortable buying it again. This became my Phoenix jacket. I have a home in the East and one in the West. When I am in Phoenix, I seldom need a heavy-duty Carhart, as I do in the East, but I do need this one. It is comfortable to wear and light to carry. It seems never out of place--although perhaps somewhat out of season when the temp is about 115 degrees--but then nothing helps except indoors and air-conditioning. Love both Phoenix and Maryland and not thinking of settling down to one place anytime soon.Jacket is as advertised, very lightweight. Fits well and is what I wanted for summer rain daysNice jacket but beware the size! I recently lost a good bit of weight and can now get back into an XXL T-shirt. So I stupidly ordered an XXL jacket. They must size them for layering because it has a LOT of room in it. Ah, well, I guess Goodwill is getting another jacket from me ..... Fortunately at this price I don't feel too put upon.It is exactly what my husband was looking for and at a very reasonable price. He needed a lightweight and easy to pack "windbreaker" type jacket for working in south Florida this winter and was having trouble finding something locally. Amazon to the rescue! For the price, I was particularly surprised to see the vented back, a design feature usually only found on the pricey ones. The adjustable elastic cuffs are also a nice feature. GotApparel did a great job of getting here quickly too. This jacket was for my grandfather who is always cold in the house he had a jacket he had wore a hole in but he really enjoys the jacket and it is easy to slid on.There wasn't a very accurate size chart so I ordered a jacket that ended up being larger than I wanted. I sent an exchange request and they wanted me to pay a "restocking fee" when I explained that I wasn't just returning the jacket but that I was buying another one of a smaller size. That didn't matter. So now I'm stuck with a jacket that's too big and if I send it back i have to pay extra for a smaller size even though I'm still buying a jacket from them.I think I bought the XL - it is much too wide and much too short, but it works fairly well for rain resistance. I'm a 210 lb 6'3 man, and I wouldn't recommend this if you're built like me (fairly long torso relative to my height). It would probably be good if you are the dimensions that the coat is catering to?Lightweight, well-made summer jacket. Probably could protect against light rains and strong winds. The synthetic material rustles a lot - can be distracting if you're trying to handle it in a quiet environment - office, school, library, etc.A good windbreaker. Very light material. My husband has had this jacket before and it is great with the back vent. Very breathable.
