Looked at alot of boys bathing suits for my 10yr and although many had a cute style or pattern, this one hit all the areas we needed. It has an elastic waist band ( absolute must with his frequent diving), had 2 slit pockets which is good ( a place for his laminated pool card, although at least one Velcro closure cargo pocket would have been better… some pockets better than none) and finally my son’s favorite it was lined in a soft stretchy liner instead of the more coarse netting most boys swimsuits have. We both loved the vibrant cool pattern and the super soft semi spandex quality if the bathing suit material which as a mom I can tell this will be a durable bathing suit and most likely will not fade like other cotton poorer quality bathing suits. Length, comes down 2/3’s down his thigh, does not hit his knee. He is 54 inches tall. We both love it!
