I've had a few woven leather belts and so far the best and now totally unavailable was the Coach that had a nickel clasp as well as belt loop. I got them at the Coach Outlet stores and then for some reason they were gone and not to come back. Since then I've tried a few manufacturers and have found that almost every one doesn't hold up well and the leather weaves come apart fairly quickly. The Land's End one is the closest to the Coach in terms of weight and apparent quality. It does not have the metal belt loop but overall, I'm satisfied with the quality and weight. Proof of the pudding will be length of wear and that's TBD right now.
