Their music consists of incorporating classic heavy metal influenced riffs, intertwining them with tasteful catchy dual guitar melodies and harmonies, along with exceptional soloing that mirrors the very best of what true to heart heavy metal has to offer. Started in1994 by Joe Di Taranto (Vocals, lead/rhythm guitars), WARMACHINE have come an extremely long way since their humble beginnings. They have produced several demos. Their last demo, recorded in 2001, was critically acclaimed and extremely successful despite not having the backing or promotion from a record label. Said demo also awarded WARMACHINE as one of the top ten unsigned bands courtesy of metal media giant Brave Words & Bloody Knuckles (BW&BK) magazine. With the release of this demo the band gained a very large and loyal fan base spanning around the world. Key markets for WARMACHINES music have been the U.S., Canada, South America, and several countries in Europe such as Italy, Greece, Ukraine, & Germany. Over the years WARMACHINE have become a force to be reckoned with when it comes to playing live. The band have performed along side several internationally established acts such as EIDOLON, ANVIL, RAZOR, EXCITER, BEYOND THE EMBRACE, JAG PANZER, FLOTSAM AND JETSAM, STEEL PROPHET, MACABRE, SKINLAB, AGENT STEEL, SEVEN WITCHES, and HELLOWEEN. In November of 2003 they were also invited to play the Dwell in Darkness Festival which took place in Mesa, Arizona. With a passion and drive to perform live WARMACHINES live show has truly become the bands forte. In late 2003 the band entered the studio to record their debut album. Co-produced by Murray Daigle (Emerald Rain/Cauterize) and David Ellefson (Former MEGADETH Bassist), The Beginning Of The End is an infectious and catchy release that continues in traditional WARMACHINE fashion, where distinct and identifiable riffs and timeless soloing shine through in the classic heavy metal vein reminiscent of the glory days of such bands as MEGADETH, METALLICA, IRON MAIDEN, and JUDAS PRIEST. With The Beginning Of The End WARMACHINE are destined to herald themselves as one of Canadas most respected true metal bands. See more

I have to disagree with any negative review. Maybe for someone that really knows this band, this all seems repititous. You are probably frustrated there's not much new here. I would agree for a bands that's been around so long, why not more albums? My guess is he / they are a bit to the perfectionous side and only want to put out a track if it sounds great to them. This album reminds me of a best of compilation. Would have to give this an A+.
