Throughout our lives we are all faced with failure of some kind. Yet, it is the search to find the strength to lift one's self up and push through the hardship that creates more fulfilled individuals. This is the story of Dana Niles. Dana's musical accomplishments are extensive. They include being a member of many bands such as 'Hot Water Music' and 'Waterfront'. Many of his former band-mates have gone on to make a living in music, (i.e. Greg Richling - bass player for 'The Wallfowers'), yet Dana has always had 'a day job' in order to make a living and keep his music untainted. Throughout his life Dana has worked with many talented people including Jim Wirt, (Producer for Incubus). It is for personal reasons that Dana wrote the songs on his debut release 'End of the Beginning'. These songs were written during a low point in Dana's life. It was during these years that he was hit with a series of personal and work failures. Yet as we all know, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger and thus Dana emerged from this period a lot smarter and focused on what matters most in life. This album is a testament that unless you learn from your mistakes you are destined to repeat them.
