Seems better than Most. I am using it for Yard Mosquito Spray. The Bug Spray Co. was selling this ontheir Website, too. No adjustable outputIt does what it's supposed to, with some modifications.1.) After reading the other reviews about the inner straw not staying in, I epoxy glued it in when I saw it was out before I ever used it. That fixed that problem. And I already had it on hand, so no biggy. Would have been better if not necessary.2.) The dial switch couldn't move from OFF to WATER or ON. There is a little square plastic bit in the way. It doesn't come off, as it's part of the whole thing. However, it is thin enough so you can push it over a little (to the left, out of the way of the dial notch) and then the dial switch works just fine. It doesn't seem to need pushing back in consequent uses.3.) Mixing ration. That's the biggest draw back for me. It seems to be mixing some, but nowhere near what it is supposed to. I followed the instructions to a T, using organic fish fertilizer. I doused all my plants significantly, yet I could hardly smell it. That stuff stinks pretty strongly upon first application, so that was surprising. When I looked at the container, not even half of the fertilizer solution had been used by the end of it. I was pretty sure I used more than 5 gallons of water by then (which was the amount I had prepared it for.)So I ran a little test. Colored water instead of fertilizer to the specified mark.Watered into a 5 gallon bucket until full. Sure enough, only half the mix used again. So, yes, all in all it technically does what it needs to, but it needs adjustments. Now that I know that only half the mix is used, I can adjust my dilution rate, but the point is that between the gluing, the bending and the adjusting, it's not exactly straight forward. But it was cheap, and it has a nice tight seal on the hose, no leakage, which is a great plus!Tried this out for the first time today using an insecticide and some dye.The bottle itself is nice and sturdy. The hose top is also of good build quality. The hose tube inside the bottle was not inserted upon initial inspection and required a bit of pressure to connect to the sprayer -- probably good so it doesn't fall out. After connecting my garden hose to the bottle, I accidentally knocked the bottle on its side and noticed that a good amount of insecticide was leaking out from the top where the bottle swivels. The spray is generous and I quickly went through 5 gallons. I don't think this bottle is designed to be able to adjust the spray pattern. Next time, I'll just have to make sure I add more water in the bottle before applying on my yard.Good sprayer for the price. This sprayer is just what I needed. I had been refilling ready to spray bottles from the store, but the bottle opens Inga we’re really narrow and they kept getting clogged. This has a really wide mouth , so it is easy to refill ( I have a one acre yard and most concentrate bottles I’ve found only treat up to 5000 sqft each.) I did notice that it started getting clogged up towards the end of the first use, but I took a 3/32 drill bit and drilled the hole in the lid and haven’t had a problem since (this might affect the mixing ratio, so I still need to test the output). The only other problem was the plastic tab that locks it in the off position. It is a little annoying to deal with. You could cut it off, but I just got a brass hose end shut-off valve, and use that to turn off the water when I need to refill. It works great and cost less than $5. All considered it is a great sprayer for the money.Bought this to spread some chemicals on the lawn. The instructions are a bit vague on how to mix and apply specific ratios. The problem mostly comes when you fill the bottle and start spraying. Before you know it, everything is gone. That said, if you do a bit of testing and measuring before you apply anything serious, you're probably good to go.There's a plastic tab that keeps the selector from moving back and forth that you have to press out of the way. It's an odd application of a "safety" switch that you're better off removing. Otherwise, the unit doesn't leak and seems well-enough built for the price.Couldn’t use as it arrived without a straw to pull water thru.Pretty much the only 20gallon hose end sprayer I could find on here but maybe my Amazon digging skills weren't up to par that day. It works as it should. HUGE spray which goes relatively quickly through 20 gallons. I use this with various Jerry Baker brews for non toxic gardening. I'm seeing some complaining about leaking... recommend fitting the hose on the top that is separated from the canister with the switch to off. This way you can turn on the water hose and check for leaks before you get started. It does take a very strong hand to tighten and there is a substantial rubber gasket in the mating hole. Once you know no leaks you can just hand screw on the canister and get moving. A long time ago I had one that looked similar with a dial. I liked its spray pattern better but I find this less complicated. If it ever dies maybe I'll go looking for it.Item came in time. Tried it couple times and it worked pretty good.great produck
