Lands’ End Legends are the tried-and-true, wouldn’t-be-the-same-without-you styles we lean on every day. Nylon
Machine Wash
Quality Materials: The waterproof nylon shell is machine washable and the 300 weight fleece lining is extra soft. It features our warmest temperature rating so you can wear it on the coldest days.
Winter Must Have: A storm guard behind the zip front blocks cold air and helps trap heat. The chin guard protects your face from the elements while the pockets have zip closures for added security.
Safe & Warm: A thin reflective band on this men's outerwear staple ensures drivers can see you even on the darkest winter nights. Frigid blasts of air are no match for the windproof shell.
Classic Fit: You'll love the relaxed fit of our lightweight coat. It's slim cut traps body heat but it never feels tight. For heavenly warmth layer it with a hooded top or wool sweater.
Versatile: Wear this packable thermal coat through the seasons. The lined pockets and collar are extra cozy and it's perfect for commuting walking the dog hiking in the woods and everyday life.
The jacket is a great medium warmth jacket for 30 to 60 degree weather. The Jacket is the same quality as the older versions of it. I am saying this because I found a like new jacket stored away for 11 years. There is no difference in comfort or warmth. I am using both. I have gone through many different types of jackets over the decades. I always return to lands end jackets. For me they are the best quality for the best price.Purchased a medium for my 90 year old father as he wore out the last one. Light weight but warm so that he can wear daily indoors as he is cold quite often. He’s 6’ tall and weighs approximately 160lbs and the medium fit him perfectly. This is the 3rd Squall jacket I’ve had over the last 20 years or so, but I’ve never had one wear out on me. I’ve just wanted a different color and the old jacket were donated, still in great shape. The Squall is a great cool weather jacket. I find it comfortable from around 30 degrees F to the mid 50’s. They are water repellent, but they don’t have a hood so don’t make a great rain coat. They wear well and clean up great by in the washing machine and drier. I noticed that they’ve changed the pockets on the new version. The interior breast pocket is smaller and no longer zippered. The outer pockets are still zippered, but not as deep as on my previous version. I guess these changes reduce the cost to make the jacket, but it is annoying as I’m guessing I’all now be more likely to lose my glasses from the breast pocket or a glove from the outer pocket If I forget to zip the pocket shut.Too tight at the hips, I have the same jacket in another color and the fit was perfect . Both jackets made in different countries. I guess that’s the difference. If you’re at the top of one size, I would suggest getting the next largest size.Stuffed into plastic bag, doubt if wrinkles/creases ever come outNice Fit, High Quality Materials and even has an inside pocket for a large cell phone. Voila a near perfect mens jacket.Product arrived promptly, fit and color was as expected. Liked the liner and sleeve insulation, no hood which I like, raised zipper collar is just right. Quality of Landsend is always good and I believe the jacket should last a long timeJacket is great, just had to go up a size.
