The album that introduced the new Marillion vocalist to the world. I can understand those who discards this period, without Fish, but I can also see why some people love it. Features 9 total tracks. EMI. 2000.
This album, released in 1989, still can grab the listener and move us to feel something is changing in themselves. The lyrics are as relevant today as in '89. Title track, "Seasons End" , still speaks to right now in 2025. Closing track, "The Space", tells truth to the amorphous division between privileged classes and the rest of us, "everybody, everywhere, all over the world, eats and sleeps, laughs and cries, loves and dies " . Now go ahead and tell me that is not true.Great stuff, fantastic music, topical lyrics, but it's not pop music and wont get radio airplay much. Marillion ain't for everyone but maybe it could be for you.
